How to Crochet Spooky Dinos
Dressing up in costumes is one of my favorite parts of Halloween, so I thought: why not dress up crochet plushies too?
I mean . . . what’s better than a pumpkin? A pumpkin dino! And of course, the other little dinosaur also needed a spooky costume.
So here’s how to crochet some mini spooky accessories for your plushies! This is a spooky mod guide for my free little dinosaur patterns (little long neck dino and little T-rex dino).
While I originally designed these accessories to go along with these dinosaurs, you can definitely crochet the little witch hat or the broom as their own spooky projects. Or if you find that they match well with another plushie or project, please feel free to use this pattern to create accessories for them as well.
The witch hat measures approximately 3.5 inches in diameter with the outer brim and around 2.5 inches in diameter at the base of the hat (the part with the yellow stripe). The broom measures to approximately 5.5 inches long and the handle is approximately .75 inches wide. Size may vary depending on your tension, yarn, and hook size.
Let’s get into the spooky pattern . . .
This pattern is designed to be crocheted in continuous rounds (or spirals) unless otherwise mentioned. You can also find an ad-free PDF version of this spooky dino mod on my Patreon.
Please do not sell, copy, or duplicate (to distribute) this crochet pattern in any format without permission. However, you may absolutely sell, gift, or donate any plushies that you make with any of my patterns. I would greatly appreciate if you could give "The Mary Jay" pattern credit and link back to this pattern when possible.
