Crochet LGBTQ+ Pride Bees Pattern

The first time I crocheted a pride bee, my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest.

Two decades of shame and trying to deny that part of me made the little bisexual pride bee in my hands feel ten times heavier. Yet somehow it also made me feel a little more safe, a little more valid, and a little more okay with who I am.

free crochet pattern for little crochet pride bees stacked on each other, including rainbow, pastel rainbow, bisexual pride, non-binary pride, lesbian pride, pansexual pride, asexual pride, transgender pride, abrosexual pride, omnisexual pride bees

Pride bees were the first thing I went viral for in 2020 and what officially started my business. Since then, I’ve created multiple bee designs, but these baby pride bees were not only the easiest and quickest to make, but also a bestseller!

I mean what better way to say “bee proud” than with a little pride bee?

They’re an adorable project to crochet for Pride Month or any time of the year to show support or to celebrate yourself! After all, pride doesn’t end with Pride Month. LGBTQ+ visibility, joy, and love are worth celebrating year-round!

Here’s how to crochet a little pride bee based on the LGBTQ+ pride flags! Follow this pattern to make a 7-stripe, 6-stripe, 5-stripe, 4-stripe, or 3-stripe pride bee.
